Recipe tips and substitution ideas:
- Store in a sealed container such as a spice jar, in a dry pantry for up to 5 months.
- This seasoning can last longer than 5 months, but always double check that it’s still fresh before proceeding, after 5 months.
- Do not store in a humid area or your spice blend may clump together.
- If you don’t like spicy, remove the crushed red peppers and do not replace them with another spice.
- Onion powder can be used instead of dried minced onion.
