If you're a fan of Sonic Cherry Limeade, skip the drive thru and try making this version at home! It's ready in 5 minutes, so refreshing and perfect when it's hot outside!

You can add or substitute with these ingredients:
- use sparkling water instead of lemon lime soda
- use ginger ale instead of lemon lime soda
- use key limes instead of regular
Recipe tips:
- This can be made ahead in a pitcher and refrigerated for up to 30 minutes before serving.
- If you're making a big batch, this electric citrus juicer makes juicing the limes so much faster!
Cherry Limeade
Ingredients
- ice
- 2 tablespoons grenadine
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- lemon lime soda
- maraschino cherries for garnish, optional
- lime slices for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Place ice in a tall glass. Add in grenadine and lime juice. Pour in lemon lime soda. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries and lime slice, if desired.

I did a drink this time around too! I'm all for Lime-Lemony drinks and I never thought of pairing it with cherry! The weather here is terrible and I'll be making this drink soon!
