Easy Baked Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In large bowl mix oil, cinnamon and sugar until combined. Add pretzels and stir to evenly coat.
- Spread evenly on prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until coating is dry and crunchy.
- Remove from oven and cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days.

DeleteThese turned out to be such a disappointment. The pretzels become very dark in color and the sugar didn't caramelize, remained wet and fell down of the pretzels. What did I do wrong? I baked at 300F for 22 minutes, I was afraid to bake more so they won't turn all black..
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that. It seems like the oven may have been too hot, but I can't say for sure since I haven't had this issue before. You could try again at a lower temp or move the oven rack further away from the heat source.
