This easy and delicious appetizer or dinner is kid approved and the adults love it too! Great for parties or any other occasion!
Cheesy Chicken and Bacon Tater Tots
Party food and appetizers are some of my favorite foodie eats!
I love choosing a bunch of different bites to try while I'm sipping on some wine or hard cider.
Today's recipe is perfect for any party, game day celebration, kids sleep overs, movie night and more!
The big kid in me loves tater tots, and when it's topped in chicken, bacon and melty cheese, you can't really go wrong.
When I use shredded cheddar in a recipe, it's most likely going to be sharp cheddar!
It has the best, somewhat bold flavor and I crave it the most of all cheeses.
Did you know the older the cheddar, the sharper the flavor?
Many people agree that cheddar flavor gets better with time.
Cheddar cheese originated in the English village of Cheddar in Somerset, but now you can find them made every where in the world.
Some of the best cheese I've had comes from our neighbor state, Wisconsin! It's always a treat to visit and try some new cheeses!
This recipe is super fast to make on a busy weeknight if you prep ahead of time.
Buy a rotisserie chicken, shred and store in the fridge. Same with bacon, fry it, and refrigerate until you use it.
If sour cream isn't your thing, try ranch instead! Don't skip either though, you really need it to pull the whole recipe together.
I hope you give this recipe a try! It's fun, tasty and different!

ReplyDeleteThis sounds a lot easier than the loaded baked potato & chicken casserole I make, and I love tater tots...may have to give this a try if I can get my silly kids to eat something with tots (how can I have 3 kids who don't like them?!)
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to figure out the nutritional information? Thanks in advance!
