If you've never made your own homemade salad dressing before, today's recipe is the one you'll want to try! It's ready in minutes and can be stored in the refrigerator until using.
Balsamic is my absolute favorite vinegar and I use it in so many different recipes. I love this balsamic vinaigrette on spinach and strawberry salad. I've also used it as a marinade and as the dressing for pasta salads.
The garlic is a perfect pair with the balsamic in this dressing and the texture is absolutely perfect. Everyone in my family loves garlic, but if fresh is overpowering for you, garlic powder works well too. The brown sugar can be an optional ingredient. We love the flavor it adds, but this dressing would still be delicious without.

Balsamic is good on anything.
ReplyDeleteI found a store in Austin, TX called Con Olio. Oils and vinegars galore! I found a Lemon Balsamic that I think I could pour over ice cream! I go as often as I can when I visit my daughter.
