Growing up and living in Minnesota all my life, I've always been a wild rice lover! It's one of the great foods of Minnesota, since it grows wild in alot of different areas. You can find it in the craziest places including gas stations, tourist spots and craft shops! We love it, let me tell you!
The typical old school Minnesota recipes are always a cream of something hotdish that you can find at any and every potluck! Even though I don't make many of those, they always remind me of my childhood and are such a great comfort food.
