This is a delicious and easy to make pasta sauce! Perfect for dinner or a pasta bar party! Can also be made in the slow cooker! Easy Homemade Spaghetti Sauce Recipe from Hot Eats and Cool Reads!

I don't know about you, but I always look for easy homemade recipes when it comes to planning holiday meals. Less time in the kitchen, means more time with the family! When it comes to Christmas meals, we've been known to have brunch, a traditional ham or turkey dinner, and even a delicious Italian pasta bar!

To tell you the truth, the pasta bar was my absolute favorite Christmas dinner. Pasta screams comfort food to me, and it fits in perfectly with the coziness of the holiday. You can serve lasagna or stuffed shells and alfredo, pesto and red sauces, along with a few different pasta choices. Add in a tossed salad with homemade Italian dressing and garlic bread or bread sticks for a perfect and filling meal! A great beverage idea for this meal would be some sparkling grape juice with fruity ice cubes!

The perfect red sauce choice for this meal would be my Easy Homemade Spaghetti Sauce! When cooked on the stove top, it takes less than an hour including prep time! You can also toss everything in a slow cooker and free up some space on the stove for making your other sauces.

This sauce gets it's amazing flavor from Hunt's Tomato Sauce and Diced Tomatoes, along with the fresh basil and parsley. My siblings and I are huge Hunt's fans. I'm not usually one to buy name brands, but whenever I need tomato sauce or diced tomatoes, I will only buy Hunt's!

When using Hunt's along with the fresh produce and herbs, meal making is a breeze. Recipes like this are great for dinner during the week, or in this case for the holidays. I love the ease of opening the Hunt's cans and pouring them into my skillet, versus making the sauce myself from fresh tomatoes. Especially in the winter when the best tomatoes aren't available. The quality and flavor is great!
