Today's Strawberry Jalapeno Salsa is perfect for taco night! It's great with tortilla chips or on top of grilled fish or chicken tacos.
This salsa has the perfect mix of spicy, sweet and savory flavors. It's so fresh, delicious and is ready in about 10 minutes.
We've also added fresh peaches to this salsa in the past and it was also tasty. It has bright flavors and is so perfect for any summer meal. Sometimes I'll make this, grab some tortilla chips and my lunch is ready.
No matter how you serve it, it's going to be amazing!

Strawberry Jalapeno Salsa
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons honey
- juice and zest of one lime
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
- 1 jalapeno, deseeded and diced
- ½ cup diced red onion
- ½ cup cilantro, chopped
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- To a medium mixing bowl, add honey, lime juice, and lime zest. Whisk to combine.
- Add strawberries, jalapeno, onion, and cilantro, and toss to coat with the honey lime mixture.
- Add salt and pepper, toss again.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container until serving.
Notes
Great served with cinnamon pita chips, tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos or nachos.
This is best eaten the same day it's made.
