This easy Cranberry Pepper Jelly Baked Spiral Ham is so wonderful, I can see why many would think it's only for Christmas or Thanksgiving. So, it is quite often when purchasing a ham, especially a spiral ham, that it is already cooked to some degree. With that being the case, if you prefer oven baked I would suggest cooking the ham in the oven at a low temperature or slow cooking it. This is the best option to avoid overcooking and drying it out. I have included instructions for both the oven and slow cooker.

Either way, this juicy glazed ham is just 4 ingredients. For a little spicy and savory, there's the pepper jelly. In the late '70s, pepper jelly started with jalapenos. Over time it has flourished into more than 29 versions using various peppers. So let your creative freedom fly!

I top off this easy ham glaze with a little cranberry sauce. I love all things cranberry! While cranberries are a healthy choice, their sustainability, along with their incomparable yet easily paired flavor make them a good choice for the holiday and all year. The salt from the ham makes this the perfect salty and sweet combination for the Fall season.

And when the holidays are over, if you should be so lucky to have anything left, remember that this ham with the best ham glaze is freezer friendly.

Under at least three layers of protection: plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and an outside container, ham can last a month or two in the freezer. Allow it to thaw naturally so it does not tarnish the texture or flavor.

While leftover ham is perfect for the traditional ham sandwich, omelette, or chef salad, this mouth watering masterpiece should have its own ham salad, croquettes, soups, or even ham loaf. A treat for brunch or dinner.
