What are your favorite wing to eat? Drums or flats?
Flats are definitely my favorite and I love that my boyfriend will eat the drums just so I can have all the flats when we order wings or make them at home.
Today's Hot Honey Wings are super simple to make and so addicting!
They're baked in the oven, the glaze is just two ingredients if you use store bought and they're ready in 45 minutes.
Serve them for dinner with a side, an appetizer for your next party or gathering or when you're craving a sweet and savory snack.

What are the ingredients in this recipe?
- chicken wings
- cornstarch
- salt
- flour
- butter
- hot honey
How to make:
Scroll down to the printable recipe card for measurements and instructions!
Recipe tips:
- Flour helps absorb any moisture on the outside of the chicken wing so they become crisp and delicious!
- Cornstarch dries out the surface of the chicken wing just slightly more than flour– again, we want super crunchy chicken wings!
- Butter helps create a sauce to coat the chicken wings. I’m using salted butter so if you are using unsalted, make sure to add a pinch of salt to your sauce.
- I’m using Mike’s Hot Honey but you can also make homemade hot honey if you don’t have any on hand. Place ½ cup of honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add 2 teaspoons of hot sauce or 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes and stir to combine. Bring to a bubble– about 3 minutes and then remove from the heat. Allow the honey to cool and then store it in the fridge until ready to use.
