I am a self proclaimed fluff salad queen! Between both of my websites, I have 10 different fluff salad desserts and many more coming up within the next couple months.
What is a fluff salad? A staple among recipes in the midwest, a fluff salad is a creamy concoction of sweet ingredients such as whipped cream, marshmallows, canned fruit, gelatin, or even soda.
Fluff salads are a Minnesota favorite! I grew up eating them at potlucks, holidays and parties and absolutely love them to this day.
This Candied Yam Fluff is unique and SO good! It has many of the flavors of baked candied yams whipped into a creamy, tangy, crunchy and sweet fluff salad.
This salad would be great served for Christmas or Thanksgiving. Or, really any fall occasion you need something sweet for. If you want to skip the canned yams, these Pecan Candied Yams would be a great substitute!
