Air fryer wings are the best! There's so many different ways to season them and they turn out crispy and perfectly juicy every time.
One of our go-to air fryer chicken recipes are these Pizza Wings! They are super delicious and are a favorite of everyone who's given them a try. Some people prefer them without the pizza sauce, and I agree they are great either way.
These easy wings are perfect for a simple dinner idea or as a party or game day appetizer. They get their amazing flavor from the garlic parmesan butter sauce that coats the wings. Those flavors pair well with the pizza sauce, making them taste just like a slice of pizza.
If you're a fan of wings, you'll want to try these Air Fryer Buttery Lemon Pepper Wings or Air Fryer Buttery Garlic Rosemary Wings!

You can add or substitute with these ingredients:
- use fresh garlic for the sauce instead of garlic powder
- use basil instead of parsley for the sauce
- use fresh parsley for the sauce instead of dried
- use Italian seasoning in the sauce instead of parsley
- use chicken drumsticks instead of wings
Recipe tips:
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
- We own a Ninja air fryer and these cook in about 18 minutes to the crispiness we love! Different brands may heat differently and wing sizes vary, so adjust the time or temperature accordingly and use a meat thermometer if you're unsure. You'll want the wings to be super crispy so the sauce coats them and doesn't make them soggy. Pre-heat your air fryer if needed.
Air Fryer Pizza Wings

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Breading:
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Wings:
- In a bowl, season the wings with garlic powder, onion powder and ½ teaspoon salt. Toss to evenly coat.
- In a separate shallow bowl, combine the flour, ½ teaspoon salt and black pepper.
- Lightly coat each wing with the flour mixture, then add to your air fryer basket on the broil rack.
- Space wings evenly and cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes, then flip and air fry for another 8 minutes or until crispy and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
- Remove from the air fryer and place wings in a bowl.
- Sauce:
- Meanwhile, add the butter to a bowl and melt in the microwave. Stir in the garlic powder, parsley, black pepper and parmesan.
- Drizzle butter mixture over the wings and toss to coat. (we cook the wings in two batches, using half the butter for the first batch, and half for the second.)
- Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
