We love everything Fruity Pebbles at our house and make different recipes with them often. One of our favorites is Fruity Pebbles krispy treats. I served them for a Birthday BBQ last summer, everyone loved them and they disappeared so fast. We used the recipe found on the back of the bag of cereal and they turned out perfectly.

Since those were such a hit, I knew this French toast would be another favorite! I'm obsessed with my air fryer and love to make breakfast with it.

The air fryer makes this French toast crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I love the sweet and crunchiness from the Fruity Pebbles on the outside and whipped cream is the absolute perfect topping. Serve it for a special birthday breakfast, or a sweet breakfast for dinner when you want something fun! Kids love it and it's affordable too!

You can add or substitute with these ingredients:

  • use Cocoa Pebbles instead of Fruity Pebbles
  • use half and half instead of milk
  • skip the sugar in the egg mixture
  • use coconut or almond milk instead of regular
  • use halved rolls or croissants instead of bread

Recipe tips:

  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days. This is best reheated in the air fryer.
  • You may have to cook these in two batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Different brand of air fryers tend to heat differently. Keep an eye to prevent burning and adjust time as needed.
  • This French toast can also be made on the stove or an electric griddle if you don't have an air fryer.
