If you've been following me for awhile, then you'll know I'm the fluff salad queen! This will be my thirteenth fluff salad dessert recipe, but my first that includes alcohol! Adults only for this one, folks!

Fireball Fluff made with Fireball Cinnamon Whisky is such a great combo of cherry and cinnamon. It may seem like an odd combo, but trust me, it's SO good. The cherries and pecans add such a great texture! This dessert salad is sweet, creamy and perfect for parties or holidays.

Recipe tips and substitution ideas:

  • Try using a cup of cottage cheese instead of the sour cream.
  • You can eat this fluff dessert immediately, but if you leave it overnight, the salad has more time to let the flavors combine. The marshmallows also get softer, which is a texture I love.
  • To garnish, I used a frosting tip to pipe a large dollop of Cool Whip on top of the bowl of fluff. I randomly placed mini marshmallows, chopped maraschino cherry pieces, and red hots around the outside of the bowl of fluff so it had a pretty presentation. Finish by placing a maraschino cherry with stem on the very top in center of the Cool Whip dollop.
  • You do not need to prepare the jello before using it. Just use the powder.
  • If you don’t like pecans, you can omit them or try a different kind of chopped nut.
  • Do not add more Fireball or it will make the salad too thin.
  • If you want to tame down the cinnamon flavor a bit, reduce the ground cinnamon by half, or adjust to your taste.
