These Slow Cooker Sweet and Spicy Meatballs are a crowd pleaser at any gathering. They're also great for dinner served with some rice or pasta.
You can serve these with some toothpicks as an appetizer for the holidays or your next game day party. The sauce is both slightly spicy and sweet. It coats the meatballs perfectly! We love serving it with some sliced green onions or chopped cilantro on top to add some freshness.
I love being able to use my slow cooker for this recipe! It's so nice to free up some stove or oven space for other things. Plus, once you put the lid on that slow cooker, you don't have to think about it again for awhile.

Recipe tips and substitution ideas:
- Don't like spicy? Use regular ketchup instead of jalapeno. If you like more heat, add some crushed red pepper or more sriracha sauce.
- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
- These meatballs can also be cooked on the stovetop or baked in the oven.
- Try using homemade meatballs, plant based meatballs or any frozen meatballs.
